Demonstration: Saturday 20th May

Posted by daviessworldofmartialarts on May 18, 2017 at 5:05 AM Comments comments (0)

On Saturday 20th May, there will be celebrations taking place at All Souls in honour of the church's 90th birthday. This is a free event with refreshments available during the day. Our team will be putting on a demonstration at 1pm as part of the event. Come and see us in action!

For students who would like to help: please wear your white dobok & belt if possible, or your black t-shirt and training bottoms (if you don't have either of those, you're still welcome to come along). Please arrive by 12.45pm (in the church itself, not the church hall) so we can get organised!

The final medal tally from our team of 13 fighters was 13 medals: 6 gold, 2 silver & 5 bronze!

Special congratulations to our little first-time competitors, Kaden & Shivy, who fought brilliantly to win gold & silver medals in sparring!

This fantastic achievement derives from his commitment to training and his impressive taekwondo achievements; including numerous national and international tournament titles and recent promotion to 2nd Degree Black Belt - despite being only 12 years old.
